WIND
In Tarifa, there are over 300 days a year with winds exceeding 15 knots. May is an excellent and consistently strong month, with a high probability of wind for most of the month due to the Levante season (20-40 knots).
Recommended sizes:
45-60 kg – 6 / 8 / 11 meters
60-80 kg – 7 / 9 / 12 meters
80-100 kg – 8 / 10 / 13 meters

FAQs
What insurance is included?
For equipment during classes, as well as liability and accident insurance.
Non-nautical activities and equipment rentals DO NOT include equipment breakage, theft, liability, or accident insurance. We recommend having private travel insurance that covers these activities.
With classes, you have unlimited rescues; with equipment rentals, two rescues are included.
How is transportation organized?
There will be a transfer on Saturdays from Malaga Airport to Tarifa and another from Tarifa back to Malaga Airport. Check the schedules to plan your flight.
During the week, we will have a school van available to take you to the different sailing spots, to the school, and back to Tarifa.
What happens if the wind isn’t right?
In strong winds, we’ll use the Surf Center Tarifa van to transport the equipment to a nearby spot where we can offer lessons or rentals.
In light winds, we’ll adapt alternative activities to make the most of the time, such as wakefoiling, efoiling, etc. If there are waves, we’ll switch to surfing or paddleboarding and/or an ebike excursion, or any activity that everyone enjoys.

The camp is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
A 15% deposit is required to reserve your spot. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will refund the deposit or offer a date change, whichever you prefer. The date will be confirmed at least one month in advance so you can purchase plane tickets, arrange your trip, etc.
